I've been working late into the evenings, trying to change up the website to prepare it for story blogging Travel Log of a Raven. I'm excited to be trying to produce something weekly. I already have a few unpolished weeks ready to go to help me hit the ground running. They will also give me some idea of what direction the story will be heading.
Travel Log of a Raven
Travel Log of a Raven immerses the reader in a culture built around forty years of war. The three warring Kingdoms have just declared Peace because all three armies decimated each other. There’s not many men around; they’re all dead. The travel log follows the adventures of a former Raven (a peasant who earns a wages by carrying dead nobility back home after a battle) whose occupation has just been eliminated.
Book Update
At the end of 2014, I managed to publish Kingdoms & Curses at a most inopportune time, nearly a week or so before Christmas. It was hardly enough time for anybody to order the book or even look up from the Holiday's business to realize that I had published it. Afterwards, my time was absorbed in the constant attention new babies require, followed by a wily one year old who is fairly non-stop in her ability to go places. A year passed. The first year of publishing came and went, and I barely made a blip into the land of marketing.
This January, I began to write again. I worked on something modern, but then got stuck, so I began writing something for amusement once more, and landed on this blog story Travel Log of a Raven, a continuation into the realm I created in Kingdoms and Curses.
